Galería Ehrhardt Flórez

Gallery

Galería Ehrhardt Flórez is a contemporary art gallery located in Madrid. With an international focus, it is committed to both its historical legacy and the articulation of the current artistic context on the Iberian Peninsula.

Today, the gallery is distinguished by a genuine and strong character that combines positions and languages from the 1980s to the present.

The gallery also continues the legacy of the former Galería Heinrich Ehrhardt, founded in 1980 and directed by Pablo Flórez (current owner of Galería Ehrhardt Flórez) from 2014 until its closure in 2022.

With the latest additions to the cast of artists and the focus of its current programming, Galería Ehrhardt Flórez aims to create a generational frame in Spanish art, featuring a group of figures who propose very distinctive languages that, while referring to our territory, project an international perspective.

Following this line of research, in recent years the gallery has also sought to support and develop specific productions and unprecedented art projects in our country.

It currently represents more than 20 artists and estates and its exhibition program showcases an intergenerational and multidisciplinary perspective. Artists born in the second half of the 20th century join a powerful generation growing alongside the gallery, articulating projects that connect with avant-garde languages and a deep social and cultural commitment.
